Battle RBM
A decision record for every failure cause.
Every RCM study describes the plant as it was when the study was written.
Equipment changes, failures happen, and the document registers neither. Battle
RBM keeps the FMECA, the risk matrix, the strategies and the walking rounds on
the asset record: field failures are logged against the cause that predicted
them, a deviation from the estimate is flagged, and every task carries the
approval behind it. When someone asks why a task exists, who approved it and
whether it still holds, the record answers.
A current FMECA
From asset to failure mode, cause and task: one task per cause, in the four reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) task strategies: on-condition, restoration, discard and combined. A hidden failure gets a failure-finding test, and a condition-based interval that outlives its potential-to-functional (P-F) window is flagged on the task before the next breakdown.
Deterministic risk scores
Risk = Probability × Effect, across up to 8 business objectives, 8 effect classes and 8 probability bands, in 2 to 8 colour levels. Deterministic and configurable to your house style.
Stale approvals are flagged
A decision can be formally approved and technically outdated at the same time. Battle RBM measures every approved baseline against the model as it stands now, flags real divergence, and records who changed what, when and why.
Field MTBF against the estimate
Log failures as they happen: field MTBF is weighed against the estimate on the record, and a deviation beyond 2× is flagged automatically. More than 60 data-quality checks catch a cause without a task, or a safety-critical element without a failure mode analysis.
Forecasts bounded by the data
Weibull, log-normal and normal failure behaviour in runs you can reproduce. Compare strategies, forecast reliability, size your spare parts. Never more statistical confidence than the data actually supports.
From decision to walking round
Strategy becomes a task, tasks join an inspection round, and the safety-critical element (SCE) register, with its safety integrity levels (SIL), test frequencies and calibrations, travels with them. 20 standard reports keep management and auditors in the loop.
